Over two and a half years in the mid-1960s, Jerry Schatzberg photographed Bob Dylan nearly a dozen times, resulting in some of the most iconic images of the era, most famously the front cover of Dylan's Blonde on Blonde. Schatzberg's portrait "Edenic Innocence" was shot in his studio in the fall of 1965, shortly after the landmark Forest Hills, Queens concert where Dylan performed publicly with The Hawks (later to become The Band) for the very first time.
