Description

Obsessive archivist Jack White has a new collection of acoustic recordings, appropriately titled Jack White Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016. Accompanying the record is an interactive, circular online "timeline" of its 26 tracks, showcasing archival material such as a 2006 Coca-Cola ad featuring White's song "Love Is the Truth," a 1998 photo of a very young Jack White and Meg White, and other assorted ephemera: recording studio schedules, photos of master reels, handwritten lyrics, and show flyers.

The career-spanning Acoustic Recordings track list includes songs from White Stripes and Raconteurs albums, as well as solo work and rarities. It also features "City Lights," a previously unreleased Get Behind Me Satan-era White Stripes song completed this year with assistance from bassist Dominic Davis. A must for any fan of the genius that is Jack White.
